UMBO
Zürich
UMBO is a collectively programmed, non-commercial music venue at Wasserwerkstrasse 89a in Zürich. The operator presents it as an open space for unconventional music and people participating in the project. Its electronic programme moves beyond a single genre, bringing DJ sessions and live performances into the same calendar. Current listings include techno events such as manufacted, alongside bass, electro, experimental work and sessions linking different musical communities. A live performance and a DJ-led night can produce different experiences, so the event's format and artists matter when choosing a visit. The collective approach is a central part of the venue's identity. Follow UMBO's own programme for the date you want to attend and check the ticket or contribution arrangements. Events have distinct starting times, and a concert or fundraiser does not establish daily access to the space. A complete recurring weekly club timetable has not been confirmed independently of the announced programme.
