The Midway
San Francisco
The Midway is a music and creative events complex at 900 Marin Street in San Francisco. Its electronic programme uses named spaces including RiDE, Gods & Monsters and the Terrace, allowing different kinds of dance events to sit within the same venue. The room designation is part of understanding what a ticket covers. House and techno are recurring strands of its bookings, with documented parties including Electroluxx and appearances involving Wax Motif and AC Slater. The programme also reaches beyond those styles, and the scale and format can change between events. Its official event hub brings together the changing productions rather than presenting the whole complex as one identical nightly experience. Read the location and room carefully before travelling. The Midway team also promotes events at separate sites, including Pier 80 and other locations, which do not become part of the Marin Street venue. Use the individual ticket for doors, session length and entry requirements, especially for multi-space or outdoor productions.
