Stidilä
Helsinki
Stidilä is an afterhours club on Kaikukatu in Helsinki, associated with the nightlife around Kaiku and Kuudes Linja. It has its own published programme of DJ sessions, including Friday and Saturday nights. Its role is in the later part of a club night, with each announcement setting out the session rather than a single fixed weekly timetable. The programme should be read on its own terms: a shared location within this cluster of venues does not mean that Stidilä runs the same lineup as its neighbours. The named DJs and the individual session are the guide to what is happening inside. The venue's policy centres on respect, personal space and keeping phones away while dancing. Those expectations protect the privacy of the people on the floor. Check Stidilä's own current listing for admission, opening and closing times before adding an afterhours stop to your plans.
