Mood Ring
New York
Mood Ring is a bar and dance venue at 1260 Myrtle Avenue in Brooklyn. Its own calendar combines happy-hour DJ sessions, later ticketed parties and other neighbourhood gatherings. The result is a place with activity across the week, where an early evening visit and a late club night can offer different experiences within the same venue. House and techno recur through the programme, alongside nights exploring other club sounds. Events such as EELF, Final Ecstasy and Life After Trance show how different crews use the space, while open earlier sessions give local selectors another platform. The calendar distinguishes those sessions from karaoke and other activities, making it possible to choose a night for its actual musical focus. Mood Ring publishes daily opening hours, with later closing on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Its listings separately state the music times, cover charge and any RSVP offer. Check the particular party before arriving, as an early free session need not share the later event's admission terms.
