Green Room NYC
New York
Green Room NYC is an electronic music venue at 195 Morgan Avenue in Brooklyn. Its programme connects the indoor Green Room with outdoor Alley sessions on selected events, creating different ways to experience the same venue across a night. Golden Record NYC is a recurring presence, alongside other crews presenting their own musical perspective. Documented parties range from Margaret Dygas's experimental appearance with Greg Paulus and Morgan to house and techno bills featuring artists such as Mike Servito and Marcellus Pittman. RAW CUTS has also used the alley for earlier sessions, while POSER has programmed both dance floors. These distinct formats make the individual event a better guide than a single description of the room. Promoter information stresses a dance floor without phones, photography or video, together with respect and care for other guests. Start times and lengths vary substantially between sessions. Follow the current named event for its rooms, lineup, admission arrangements and exact timing.
