Gleis 44 is a cultural and interim-use project in Ulm, created from a city initiative to bring life into the Dichterviertel through a former railway building. The venue combines club culture, workshops, concerts, talks, studios, a beer garden and broader sociocultural programming, so it should not be treated as a pure electronic club. The best classification is an independent cultural node with club nights: not always a rave space, but important when local collectives activate it.
