EQ San Diego
San Diego
EQ is an electronic music club at 1271 University Avenue in Hillcrest, San Diego. The operator presents it as a venue for both established DJs and emerging talent, with a recurring programme spread across the week. It combines regular bar access with named nights, allowing different communities to shape the music on different dates. The schedule includes REVERB, SANCTUARY, DRESSCODE and other hosted sessions. Psytrance is documented in its event programme, while the operator describes the overall musical offering more broadly as electronic. Those individual nights are the useful guide to the expected sound: the venue's identity covers more activity than one genre label or one weekend booking can capture. EQ publishes a full weekly opening table, starting at noon and continuing later on most days. DJ sessions can begin much later than the venue opens, so consult the relevant listing for the music itself. The operator states that the venue is 21+ with valid government identification and provides its own access and bag information.
