Distillery is one of Leipzig's most important electronic music institutions and one of the longest-running techno club names in Germany. Its public identity is built around serious entertainment since 1992, and recent scene traces point to the club reopening at the Altes Messegelaende in 2025 after years of relocation pressure. Its programming can move across techno, house, electro, bass and drum and bass, but the club's gravity is clearly rooted in techno culture and Leipzig's underground history.
